Nathan Drake follows a four-hundred-year-old clue to an island that turns out to be considerably worse than a treasure site. It is shorter and more linear than the sequels, the jungle is genuinely atmospheric, and the climbing-and-shooting rhythm the series became known for is already fully formed here.
