Far Cry 6 puts you on Yara, a fictional Caribbean island run by a dictator who is grooming his son to inherit it. You play a guerrilla fighter working your way up from improvised weapons to something resembling an army.

The Resolver weapons are the standout - guns built out of scrap that do things conventional firearms cannot, including one that plays music while it fires. The island is large and genuinely varied, moving from farmland to jungle to a capital city that feels like a different game.
