Assassin's Creed Syndicate is set in Victorian London during the Industrial Revolution, and it gives you twins - Jacob and Evie Frye - who genuinely play differently. Jacob is built for brawling, Evie for staying unseen.

The rope launcher is the change that matters most. It turns London's height into something you can actually use, letting you zip between rooftops instead of climbing every building. Carriages fill in the ground level, and the city is one of the better-realised in the series.
