FIFA 23 was the last game to carry the FIFA name, and it went out with both the men's and women's World Cup tournaments included as free updates alongside women's club football.

HyperMotion2 expanded the animation capture, and set pieces were rebuilt - a new penalty system and a free-kick mechanic that gives you direct control over where on the ball you strike. Ultimate Team added Chemistry changes that loosened the old positional restrictions.
