Dying Light is a first-person zombie game whose real subject is parkour. Movement is the entire design - you climb, vault and roof-run across a city where being on the ground after dark is a genuinely bad idea.

The day and night cycle is what sets it apart. Daylight is survivable and the infected are slow; at night the Volatiles come out, they are faster than you, and the game turns into a chase. Weapons are scavenged and break, so nothing is ever quite reliable.
