EA SPORTS UFC brought mixed martial arts to the PlayStation 4 with a striking and grappling system that rewards patience over button-mashing. Fights are won by managing stamina, picking your moment to shoot for a takedown, and knowing when a submission is worth the position you give up to attempt it.

The roster covers the promotion's well-known names across multiple weight classes, and Career mode takes a created fighter from the qualifying circuit through to a title run, with training camps between bouts deciding which attributes improve.
