Homefront: The Revolution drops you into an occupied Philadelphia and asks you to build a resistance out of almost nothing. The KPA hold the city with drones, checkpoints and armour, and a direct fight is a fast way to die. What you have instead is improvised weaponry, local knowledge and a population that will join in once you give them a reason to.

The open world is split into zones that shift as you take them, and the shooting is deliberately scrappy. Guns are assembled from parts in the field, jamming and all, which keeps the tone closer to insurgency than to a military shooter.
