Uncharted 4: A Thief's End closes Nathan Drake's story. He is out of the business and reasonably happy about it until a brother he believed dead turns up with one more job, and the game is honest about what that costs him at home.

Mechanically it is the widest the series ever got - levels with several viable routes, a grappling hook, and driving sections that open the map out. The Madagascar chapter in particular is the closest Uncharted came to being an open-world game.
